This is a selection of my 16 final images. I chose to do 16 to represent the hours of my day, apart from the hours of sleeping. I have taken these photos to symbolize a tracking of my daily routine, almost like a diary entry of the things I did in that day. I wanted the images to show the things that we often forget that we do in a day or go unnoticed such as getting out of bed, little things which have become such a big part of a daily routine that we don't recognize them anymore. I started with the start of the day, so getting up and eating breakfast and I then went to lunch time and then finished with getting back into bed again at the end of the day.
I chose these images as my finals as I think they show the track of my day and the routines within a day that would normally go unnoticed.
I wanted to show that 'tracks' don't have to be just railways, roads and pathways and that they can be found in every day life in every day patterns that just go unnoticed as it has become such a routine.

For each of these photos I put a time next to them to show when the activities took place as a way of remembering the routine I was in on this day.
These photos also show the imprints that I leave behind, for example the clothes that I leave on the floor at the end of the day and the crumbs I leave after eating , represents the imprint and part of me that I leave behind, another way of tracking my day and where I've been.
I wanted to create an orderly structured diary of the activities and routines within my day, hence why I chose 16 to represent the hours in which I am awake within the day.
I chose to photograph the significant, insignificant things in my day, meaning that I took photos of things which would normally go unnoticed throughout my day that actually make up my day for example things that I don't go a day without doing but wouldn't always notice and recognize that I do them (waking up, showering etc...).
